Stacey has been a practicing clinician in the Buffalo area since 1997.  After receiving a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from SUNY at Buffalo, and a Masters Degree from Canisius College, she has been fortunate to have worked for leading local mental health agencies.  Those agencies provided extensive training and experiences that Stacey now brings to her private practice. 

Clinically,  Stacey's focus is on the special needs of those affected by trauma.  This includes the counseling of children who have been the victim of sexual abuse, as well as adults, adolescents and families of those who have been affected by sexual violence. Stacey is also an approved consultant in EMDR Therapy.

Counseling services are provided to children, adolescents, adults, individuals, families and groups. 

Stacey has worked with clients on a broad range of issues including attachment, anxiety, coping, grief/loss, sexual abuse, sexual boundaries, stress management and trauma therapy.

Clients are routinely referred to Stacey through educators, social service agencies, colleagues, physicians, attorneys and courts of law.

Stacey's is an EMDR therapist with Cognitive Behavioral InfluencesHer counseling sessions are provided in a relaxed, comfortable setting conducive to open discussion.  Through dialogue, writing, and focused feedback, clients are offered a chance to look at their lives and circumstances from a new perspective leading toward change.

Stacey's treatment approach is direct and honest.
